About Us
Erica Wright is founder and owner of Ruth Marie Social; an Event Planning & Design company located in Dallas, Texas. Erica is a proud graduate of the University of North Texas, where during her undergrad tenure, she served as the President of UNTs impeccable University Program Council, she managed special events for the student body and local community. Erica earned several Planning and Marketing opportunities with amazing companies, including the Richards Group, a Dallas based branding agency, as a PR Intern where she assisted with advertisement and marketing trends for multiple industry leading companies.
Post graduation, Erica launched her career as a paper designer, where she began custom event branding. Eventually this led her to create Ruth Marie Social. It was in this that she started to provide custom creations for events not only in Dallas-Ft. Worth, but in other states such as Atlanta and Arizona. Soon afterwards, she continued to perfect her craft by attending Southern Methodist University's (SMU) Graphic Designer Certificate program. She made it a priority to return to event design and planning, which is her first love. Often accused of being a perfectionist, Erica assures this quality is purged onto her thoughtful designs and event management. She looks to implement joy in every product and introduce her clients to visionary thinking.

"I had the pleasure of working with Erica for my wedding on 1/30/2016. Weddings are extremely stressful and I was definitely the stressed out bride but Erica handled everything with such a professional grace. I called her and text her ALL THE TIME and no matter now annoying I'm sure I was Erica answered all of my questions every time. I never had to wait forever her to respond and that was really important to me. She handled everything from dealing with my vendors, my invites, my decor and of course the day of the wedding chaos. After the wedding I found out that Erica put out so many fires for me. From problems with the caterer, the venue not setting up my floor plan correctly, she even made sure I got my bridal bouquet at the last min. (Long story) the point is I never knew of any of these issues on my wedding day bc Erica corrected them all before word ever got back to me. My day ran smoothly, on time and my guest were extremely impressed with all of the small details that made my day beautiful. Erica is professional, detail oriented, consistent and very knowledgable.
